THE AFFAIRS OF EACH DAY HAVE CROWDED YOU OUT, AND WE HAVE BEEN MORE CONCERNED WITH SELFISH PLEASURES THAN WITH DISCOVERING YOUR PRESENCE. AS A RESULT, WE COME HERE IN LESS STRENGTH AND EXCITEMENT THAN WE OUGHT TO FEEL. FORGIVE US, LORD, AND LET THIS BE A TIME OF RESHAPING OUR LIVES AND THOUGHTS, THAT WE MAY BECOME THE PEOPLE YOU HAVE CALLED US TO BE; THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. AMEN.
