Call to Worship (responsive)
O come, let us sing to the Lord!
Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving!
Let us worship Him with songs of praise!
*Hymn#430 “Come Sing, O Church, in Joy!”
*Prayer of Confession(unison)
We confess to You, O God, that we have not remembered You enough this week. We have gone our own ways without being mindful of Your presence. We have sought our own welfare without thinking of others. We have neglected Your Kingdom for the pursuit of our own desires in this world. Forgive us, we pray, and turn us again to the remembrance of things that matter. Let our commitment to You become fresh and strong again. In Jesus’ name. Amen.(followed by a period of silent confession)
*Assurance of Pardon (responsive)
Jesus did not come into the world to condemn the world,
But that the world through Him might be saved.
His life was given for the redemption of many.
His blood atones for all our sin.
I tell you that God, for Christ’s sake, has forgiven us. Amen.
